I love helping to build community in our schools, and especially at Sartori Elementary. I'm happy to be serving my second year as President. I know the importance of a strong PTA and I'm so excited to be on such a strong team of volunteers to help enrich the lives of the kiddos at Sartori Elementary! When I'm not volunteering I'm often hiking, gardening, reading, or crafting.
As Co-Vice President this year I look forward to continuing the growth of our amazing school and volunteers. Last year I was able to meet some phenomenal parents, teachers and administrators through PTA involvement. I believe that finding time to volunteer, whether it be once or continuous you will learn a lot about your child, the school and the community we are in all while meeting some great people. I am a full-time working Mom of two boys and look forward to creating opportunities within our PTA for every volunteer to be involved. As a family we enjoy fishing, camping, family movies and the Seahawks!
As Co-Vice President I look forward to working together for a second year to get to know each other as an awesome PTA and Sartori Community! Last year I worked with the Read-a-thon committee and look forward to seeing how all the PTA programs and events continue to grow and get better this year. I have twin girls in First Grade.
I was born and raised in the south Bellevue neighborhood of Newport Hills. As a former HR data administrator, I have a love for all things data entry and excel. I currently have one student at Sartori, and will have two more within the next few years. During her free time (or car rider pickup line) she enjoys hand embroidery, podcasts and audio books.
I have a son in Middle School and two daughters here at Sartori. My wife’s name is Michele and together we believe volunteerism is key to the success of a PTA and our educational institutions. I have served in several PTA roles at our previous school as well as coordinated many events. When I’m not at the school I enjoy building LEGO with my kids, hiking, Seattle sports spectating and concert going.
