Abby Obermiller

President

I'm excited to return as the PTA President for the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year. My family remains deeply engaged in the school, with a second grader at Sartori and a sixth grader at McKnight. The Sartori community has continually impressed me over the years, and I'm honored to play a role in it.

Having experienced the remarkable achievements of the 2022-2023 year, I'm excited about the numerous possibilities that lie ahead for the PTA. Our mission to enhance the experiences of our students and the community is both compelling and rewarding. It's important to remember that this endeavor requires the collective efforts of each and every one of us. Whether you prefer working behind the scenes or taking center stage, your contribution matters significantly.

I want to emphasize that this journey wouldn't be feasible without the wholehearted support of each individual. I eagerly anticipate the fantastic journey that the coming year promises and look forward to the accomplishments we'll achieve together!

Co-Vice President

I'm honored to be included among

this amazing community as the PTA

Co-Vice President! My daughter is in third grade and my son is starting from scratch as a kindergartener - all while their little sister patiently waits to become a Raven. I’m homegrown in the PNW, raised in Seattle, and now proud to call Renton my home. Together with my husband, (a New England transplant), our family enjoys rockhounding, crazy weather, park trips, Pokémon, pizza, movie nights, good friends, and our community.  This is my third time serving on the Executive Committee. Along with being our family's primary caregiver, I also work on various projects as a litigation paralegal and community volunteer.

My hope for PTA is that we encourage diversity, provide equitable engagement, and focus on a message of inclusivity. Please reach out with any questions, concerns, or suggestions. I can't wait to meet new families!

Go Ravens!!

Co-Vice President

Thank you for having me serve as your PTA Co-Vice President for the 2023-2024 school year. I'm thrilled to join this amazing community that supports and enriches the lives of our students. Thanks to all of the amazing new and returning families that work behind the scenes to make all of our events so successful and special. We cannot achieve such awesomeness without you!!

My husband and I lived in Texas for most of our lives. This was the first big move across the country before we started a family. Our children are super lucky to be homegrown in the PNW with such great friends turned families (we love our little village ). A few of my favorite things to do: baking, eating, drinking lots of boba tea, yoga and finding new places to try, especially boba joints.

I look forward to meeting all of you and working to build awesome experiences for our students, staff, and community. Let's make it an awesome year. Go Ravens!! Ka-kaahhhh!!

Kelly Lenard -Holcomb

Treasurer

I am very excited to be your PTA Treasurer for 2023-2024. My son, Logan, is entering his third year
(second grade) at Sartori and we are very happy to be a part of the Raven family. I am excited to meet
other new and returning families and to help grow our community after such a challenging year for so
many. After spending a few years at home with my son, I have recently started working for a non-profit
that is centered around serving children and families in the foster care system. In my spare time I enjoy
traveling, camping, hiking, reading and swimming. I look forward to learning the ins/outs of public school and I’m thrilled to be doing so at Sartori.

Secretary

I'm excited to be your Sartori Elementary School PTA Secretary for the 23-24 School Year.  I was raised in Renton and graduated from the Renton School District.  My husband and I have 4 kids (27/19/15/9) and our youngest is in the 5th grade at Sartori (proud to be part of the first class of Kindergartners when Sartori opened).  I currently work as an Operations Manager for a local insurance agency where I've been for over 25 years.

I'm very excited to see what we can do for our students, staff, parents and community this year through the PTA.  Remember - we can't do it without all of you!!
